A few years ago a friend of my parents shared some old Super 8 film of their sister's wedding in the 70s. These were early days in the 'wedding film' world and it was a bit all over the place but there was this moment captured with my father aged about 21 talking with a couple of friends, looking pretty cool and smiling at the camera. It was quite a thing to see and I realised how amazing it is seeing the movement of someone you know so well, having a great time and in some ways the best version of themselves.
Inspired by this footage, I want recreate this feeling of connection for others; to create something for those who were there when it all happened and want to be transported back, but also those who couldn't be there for some reason, maybe living far away or who perhaps were not yet born!
